Tasty Tuesday February 11
This one I clipped from a magazine somewhere from an article on one-pot suppers.
Prep: 5 min Cook: 12 min
4 slices bacon
1 bunch broccoli, cut into bite sized pieces
8 oz capellini or angel hair pasta
1-4 oz package light herbs-and-garlic soft spreadable cheese
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fry bacon in a large skillet until crisp. Drain on paper towels. Pour out grease and wipe skillet with a paper towel.
In same skillet, bring 4 cups water to a boil. Add broccoli and boil gently for 3 minutes until bright green.
Stir in pasta. Return to a boil and cook until pasta and broccoli are done and almost all the water is gone. Remove from heat.
Add cheeses and stir to mix. Crumble bacon on top and serve.
